A New Heart and Spirit
Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed, and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit! Ezekiel 18:31 Downtrodden of your own doing. Other gods have taken pedestals in the heart of your worship. Remove your sin like a garment soiled by the sludge of the earth. Hear the voice calling out through prophets. Listen to your God, who pleads that you might turn down the road He intends. Saddened by the darkness of your choice, consuming the present day. He says, today, make your heart new, give your spirit new life. He is the sun rising in the mourn and setting in the eve. He is the one who aches when you raise voices against Him.
