I am Levi, I have taken advantage of my downtrodden brethren.  I am Mary, I anointed Your feet and wiped them with my hair. Sight unseen, the mystery of Your word. I feel its truth in the marrow of my bone. You are the essence of life. I have never witnessed, nor walked in sandals such as Yours. I have been told and submitted my heart to trust. I understand You to be more than doctrine, more than a supreme dictator, demanding my allegiance. I understand You to be more than creator, more than the one who breathes life into my clay. I understand You to be a promise come unto flesh and the lover of my soul. Gather around my wooden table rest yourselves upon my floor those of you with initials carved who would enter through my door. All deniers and betrayers open your hearts share my bread it is offered from my flesh wheat of living and of dead. Gather around this wooden table Judas, Peter, James and John those of you who know my name hold tightly these unbroken bonds. On this vine I bleed for you again I will not taste its wine until I drink it next to you in a promised place a joyful time.
