Christ on the Throne - Cima da Coneliano The Lamb has become the Shepherd. The sheep stand before the throne, singing praise. They neither hunger, nor thirst. They will be led to springs of living water, by the one whose blood has cleansed their robes. The Lamb has become the Shepherd. The alpha and the omega has touched the soil of creation. His feet have tread upon the soil. The Good Shepherd has shown unto you His purpose. The Lamb has become the Shepherd. When He has neither been denied, or betrayed. When the sheep answer, "Yes Lord," to His voice. The Lamb without blemish has been led to the cross. He is meek. He is filled with humility. Shepherd with a Flock of Sheep - Charles Jacque Shepherds scatter, as it was so in Jeremiah's day, as it was so when Jesus walked the earth, as it is in the day in which we now live. Shepherds scatter, when walking in the footprints of their own pride, rather than those of God. Shepherds scatter, over dogmas which sever His body. There should be union, bound by strengths, rather than divisions of weakness. We need to stand as one body loving God, believing the words of His son, knowing that from His death comes life. We need to love each other regardless of sins without celebrating those iniquities the world accepts. Shepherd, guiding a flock over rugged terrain, seeking the green valley where the sheep may lie down. Shepherd, leading by the sound of Your voice, to food abundant and water pure. Shepherd, who seeks the wandering stray, the soul vulnerable to the wolf. I am the lone sheep, wandering from the flock. I am the one unprotected, caught in the numbness of the world. I am the one frightened, but ashamed to commit to my protector. I walk through shadows, ensnared in the briars of sin. I am the lone sheep that the shepherd searches for. He celebrates my return, a sinner becomes a saint.
