Genesis 17:1

Walk before me, and be blameless
Genesis 17:1

Walk in the presence
of the one
who refers to Himself
as El Shaddai.

Face to face,
aware of His nearness,
aware of His love,
aware of the all encompassing holiness.

Offer each moment of the journey
with a sincere heart,
one centered on worship,
for this covenant is holy.

You will not be perfect,
or without sin,
for you are the created,
and He is creator.

Did Adam walk like this,
before the fruit was taken,
when he was blameless,
when he was innocent,
when the garden was young,
and he dwelled among the eternal?

Walk in His presence.
Be wholehearted in devotion,
for His sandals will tread beside yours,
regardless of your stride.
